Sacred Heart ER Supports Bunker Hill Elementary Dad’s Club Event

At Sacred Heart ER, we’re always looking for ways to support our Houston community, especially when it comes to keeping families safe and having fun! On March 1st, we had the pleasure of sponsoring a medical tent at the Bunker Hill Elementary Dad’s Club event, held from 4 PM to 8 PM.

The president of the Dad’s Club and owner of Hunter Pence Baseball Academy reached out to us a few months ago to help ensure the event had proper medical support. We came prepared with finger splints, saline, gauze, and bandages—just in case of any minor mishaps. Fortunately, there were only a few scrapes and bruises, and no major injuries!

To add some fun to the event, we also handed out glow sticks, medicine-themed stickers, and small toys for the kids. Our amazing ER tech, Lyndsey, did a fantastic job organizing our booth and running kids’ activities, making sure everyone had a great time.

The event was a huge success! With over 40 dads showing up to participate, it was a fantastic day of food, games, and friendly competition. Families came out in full force to enjoy the festivities, and the dads got to show off their skills—some more than others! (Let’s just say the pro baseball player in the group set the bar pretty high!)

We’re proud to have been part of such a great community event and grateful for all the positive feedback we received. At Sacred Heart ER, we’re always here when you need us—whether it’s for urgent medical care or supporting the health and safety of our local families.

Thank you to the Bunker Hill Elementary Dad’s Club for letting us be part of this special day!
